I was so excited and flattered to be asked to be part of this because not only have I been a student for three years I also know my indie and alternative music pretty well and was so excited to be given the opportunity to bring a new and exciting sound to The Candy Bar.The launch went wonderfully and people said such kind and positive things. Equipped not only with great music but the lovely Sandra Davenport had gathered a fantastic bunch of goody bags for everyone and the place was covered in lots of sweeties and goodies.
Tomorrow brings the third night which I am really excited for... the second event still had a fantastic group of people who are all really positive and supportive but after the launch night the second one is always going to be a slight anti climax.
The word about Bounce is spreading... its not going to happen over night but once people see what the night is about and see that we are here to stay. We want to have a night that caters for a taste of music usually held in the East London 'scene' and bring this to Soho.Candy Bar have specifically mentioned that this night is LGBT. Candy Bar is for lesbians but all the GBT are more then welcome and personally I really hope we can see a great mixture of people coming down and enjoying themselves :)
