Another legend gone...

The last few years surely has taken it toll on legendary artists. Micheal Jackson...Amy Winehouse and now Whitney Houston.
Like many legendary artists they have battled with alcohol and drug abuse which usually ends up destroying their lives and ultimately ending it.
Social networks are rife with the stars unfortunate demise at the young age of 48 and one specific status really touched me. It mentioned the fact that people should not judge that her death was most likely substance abuse and the pressure that people with her status have to deal with can get too much for  lot of them and we should just remember her for her brilliant talent and iconic status.
Below is one of my favourite songs and will always have the hair stand up on the back of my neck.

I am very proud to have been born in the 80's as I think its such a iconic and fantastic decade!

As I gear up for Saturday 16th July where I am doing a 80's night at The Magpie in Walton On Thames I thought id freshen up on my knowledge!

I forgot how many amazing tracks there are- Ive done a run down on the top ten amazing tunes from 1980's.
